May I present.. Pink Nightmare!

Ok guys. I finally did it.

As of very early this morning, Refractions is no more. Instead, I bought the domain http://pink-nightmare.com, where the blog will now redirect.

Why Pink Nightmare, you ask? Well, a few reasons.

1. I thought it was super interesting sounding. When you hear that term, you really don't know what you're getting into. There's an air of mystery about it that I find intriguing, and hope others will as well.

2. It's a line from A Christmas Story, which is easily one of my favorite movies. It really has nothing to do with the blog, but it amuses me and that is how I came up with the name.

3. I am a pink nightmare. I am not the girliest girl in the world, but I love the color pink. I have a pair of pink pants that I absolutely love and wear often. I wear pink hair extensions whenever I can get away with it. Pink lipstick. And I tend to design the blog in pink anyway, so why not tie it in?

4. It's fun. Refractions was not a 'fun' title even in the least. I started Refractions during a rough time in my life, but that rough ground has more or less evened out. I'm a lot happier now than I was then, and that title just didn't seem to accurately represent the direction in which this was heading. So that was what prompted the change, and I think the new title fits better.

So from now on, you can visit me here, at http://pink-nightmare.com.

I should have new buttons up soon, as well as tons of new content. I'm pretty excited for what's coming up for the blog. I'm participating in a Valentine's Day swap (more on that later) and this post will possibly appear as a guest post on an awesome blog soon.
